The Greatest Miracle of All

The greatest miracle of all in this life is to know God's love for yourself personally and to experience this love every day of your life. God created you and me to know Him, know His love and to enjoy His goodness and tender kindness and mercies today and forever.

There will always be an emptiness in your heart and my heart that can never be satisfied by anything other than the love of God. Things of the world and the pleasures of the flesh, including wealth, sex, food and drink, fame, degrees, etc., will only bring temporary satisfaction to our body and soul, but not to our spirit.

You were created with a longing for our heavenly Father's love. He made you that way.

You can enjoy our heavenly Father’s love today by meditating and acting on these 7 truths from God’s word:

(1) God loves you and has a great plan for your life.

Jeremiah 29:11
11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

John 10:10
Jesus said: “10 The thief [the devil] comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

(2) Sin has separated you from God’s blessings in your life and has allowed the devil to bring destruction and death.

Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(3) God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die on the cross for the punishment of your sins.

John 3:16-18
16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

John 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

(4) Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after His burial and is alive forever, ruling over the universe even right now at the right hand of the Father in heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:3-5
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.

(5) Whoever believes in Jesus Christ as Saviour receives forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

John 3:35-36
35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.

Acts 2:38
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

(6) Jesus is the only way to the Father in heaven
Only Jesus, the sinless Son of God, is the sacrifice that God accepts to pay for the punishment of your sins and my sins.
No one else in all the world can ever save us.

John 14:6
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.

(7) Salvation is a gift from God, given through the work of Jesus on the cross who died for our sins.
No man can save himself.
No good works can wash away your sins and give you eternal life.
No money is enough to buy you eternal life.

Eternal life is a free gift from God, a free blessing---a grace---of God.
Therefore, no one can boast before God, but all glory goes to Him alone for our salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

A PRAYER TO RECEIVE JESUS AS SAVIOUR
If you want to receive Jesus as Saviour, pray this simple prayer right now:

“Dear Abba Father, thank You for sending Your only Son to die for my sins on the cross.

“Right now, I receive Jesus Your Son as my Saviour.

“I acknowledge that I have sinned against you in my thoughts, words and actions. Forgive me all my sins. Wash them away by the blood of Jesus.

“Fill me now with Your Spirit to help me, lead me and guide me, so that I have the power to live as a child of God.

“Lord Jesus, I thank You for loving me so much that You died for my sins on the cross to save me from death and hell and to give me eternal life.

“Abba Father, I give You all the glory for all that You have done for me.

“In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
